Bypass the Android Factory Reset Protection lock and use your phone without having to go to the store. If you become stopped in the Google ID signing in process after doing a ‘Phone Reset’ or ‘Hard Reset’ on your Android phone, unlocking FRP is the only way to get access to it again.
FRP stands for ‘Factory Reset Protection,’ and it protects the device from unauthorised use by verifying the first Google ID used to sync information. Since Google added Google Account Verification or Factory Reset Protection (FRP), if the individual conducting the factory reset does not have the credentials for the Google Account that was previously logged on the phone, the phone becomes unusable.
This can also have a significant impact on consumers who purchase the device from a third party and are unable to contact the person who sold them the phone. The majority of consumers claimed they were unable to use the phone because they were unable to get past the screen when the phone requests a Google Account.
