Apple has released iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and WatchOS 8 to all users who are eligible. The latest version of the new operating system is now ready for download, including new capabilities for iPhones, iPads, and watches.
iOS 15 is approximately 3GB in size. By navigating to Settings >> General >> Software update, one can manually upgrade the OS. While downloading and installing the update, make sure your device is fully charged.
New Features of iOS 15
From the iPhone SE (Gen 1) to the iPhone 13 Series, iOS 15 is compatible. iPadOS 15 is compatible with all iPad models, from the 5th generation iPad Pro to the new iPad Mini.
FaceTime gets support for spatial audio, SharePlay, Portrait mode, Grid mode, and voice isolation mode as part of Apple iOS 15. Users may now share links to FaceTime calls, which is one of the most significant and greatest features.
These links are accessible to users who do not own an Apple device. FaceTime calls will now operate on Android and Windows-based devices as well, according to the new update.
iMessage App
The Messages app includes a lot of new features, especially for Indian users. “Notifications for unknown senders, promotions, and transactions” can be turned on or off by users.
Users will have more control over notifications for every form of message as a result of this. With additional stickers, spectacles, and other possibilities, even the memoji is becoming more customised.
Focus Mode
It allows users to personalise their notification filter according to their preferences.
Focus mode aids in the organisation of app and widget pages on the device’s home screen.
Apple’s Own Authenticator
The iPhone will have a built-in authenticator that can be used with accounts that have two-factor authentication enabled. If a code is required by a website, go to Settings >> Passwords and use Apple’s authenticator to establish a password without the need for a third-party software.
Find iPhone Even When Turned Off
Even if your iPhone is turned off or wiped, the Find My app can locate it. If you misplace your Airpods, you may now use new network support to locate your device even if it isn’t linked to Bluetooth.
